    There are ruins of a chapel in Enniscoe. They are called Chapel Beag.

    There are ruins of a chapel in Enniscoe. They are called Chapel Beag. It is believed that priests come there during the night to say mass. People have seen the priests and have heard a bell ringing there at mid-night.

  2. Several people have heard the Banshee in Enniscoe, and a few of seen her in the evenings. My mother saw her years ago. She is a small woman clothed with straw having a shawl on her head. The Banshee is still believed in and only one person at the time will hear her.
    Families have "O" or Mac (as O'Malley. Macbride) have Banshees.
    The cry is heard usually the night
